The Marketing and International Trade Committee oversees policy issues related to domestic marketing and promotion programs; marketing orders; specialty crops; global and regional international trade agreements; programs to assist in the expansion of international markets for U.S. agricultural products; harmonization of technical standards, inspection and regulatory programs; marketing of agricultural biotechnology products; programs to provide food aid and technical assistance regarding agricultural matters to other countries; and such other matters as may be determined by the Board of Directors. The committee shall also oversee the activities of the working groups established under the Tri-National Agricultural Accord.
