On Dec. 12, 12 National Association of State Departments of Agriculture enumerators and supervisors were recognized for their exceptional contributions to agricultural data collection during the annual U.S. Department of Agriculture National Agricultural Statistics Awards for Excellence ceremony. These awards celebrate individuals who excel in survey quality, response rates, efficiency and building strong relationships with respondents.
In a virtual ceremony, NASDA CEO Ted McKinney presented the awards and expressed his gratitude.
“These individuals represent the very best of NASDA,” McKinney said. “Their commitment to accuracy and teamwork ensures the quality of data that supports our nation’s agriculture.”
Each award recipient also received a monetary prize in recognition of their hard work and dedication.
This awards program is a cornerstone of the NASDA-NASS partnership, showcasing the important role enumerators play in collecting data that guides decisions for farmers, policymakers and the agricultural industry. By honoring these outstanding achievements, we celebrate not only the individuals but also the vital contributions they make to agriculture.
