WHO: The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture 2023-2024 President will lead a hybrid press conference to share about NASDA’s newly adopted policy items. NASDA CEO Ted McKinney and NASDA Senior Director of Public Policy RJ Karney will also be available. The conference will follow the conclusion of the 2023 NASDA Annual Meeting.

WHERE: Both virtual and in-person registered press will be able to participate. The NASDA Annual Meeting is being held in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Sept. 11-13 at the Little America Hotel and Resorts.

For virtual attendees, tune in to the concluding plenary session on Wednesday. The press briefing will start directly after the business meeting adjourns during the session.

WHAT: NASDA members will deliberate on proposed policy from 12:30 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12. Final voting will take place at 10 a.m. on Wed, Sept. 13 during the NASDA business meeting, at which time the 2023-2024 NASDA President will also be inducted. Registration to attend is free for all members of the press.
