Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets Hiring Assistant State Veterinarian

The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets is seeking a motivated veterinarian to join our team of passionate professionals as the Vermont Assistant State Veterinarian and Animal Health Section Chief. The Assistant State Veterinarian guides an experienced technical and administrative staff and collaborates with other program managers to fulfill the goals of the Animal Health section: maintain the ability of Vermont’s livestock, poultry, and livestock products to be sold locally, nationally and internationally and engage with producers, processors and consumers to ensure livestock and poultry health and compliance with best practices, laws and regulations.
